Who We Are
Group Volunteerism at 5Cities Homeless Coalition offers organizations, teams, and community groups a meaningful way to serve together. These opportunities are designed for groups that want to make a tangible impact through hands-on projects while building connection, teamwork, and shared purpose.
Group volunteer activities are structured, staff-supported, and ideal for businesses, service clubs, faith-based groups, schools, and other organizations looking for a one-time or short-term service experience
What We Do
Group volunteers support 5CHC through coordinated, project-based activities that may include:

Hosting or participating in bowl painting parties for community fundraisers like Empty Bowls

Helping organize and sort supplies in storage units and program spaces

Participating in group kitchen days to help prepare meals for our shelter programs

Assisting with preparation tasks for upcoming events or seasonal needs
Group projects are scheduled in advance and matched to group size, availability, and current needs to ensure a positive and impactful experience for both volunteers and staff
