Who We Are

Event Support volunteers are a vital part of the team that brings 5Cities Homeless Coalition’s community events to life. These volunteers help create welcoming, well-organized experiences that connect the community to our mission and directly support the programs we run throughout the year.

Event Support volunteers work closely with staff and fellow volunteers in fast-paced, collaborative environments and play a key role in the success of both our major annual fundraisers and smaller community events.

What We Do

Event Support volunteers assist with a variety of tasks related to planning and executing 5CHC events, including:

  • Supporting our four major annual events, such as setup, guest flow, logistics, and breakdown

  • Assisting with smaller community events and outreach activities throughout the year

  • Helping with event preparation tasks like assembling materials, organizing supplies, and coordinating volunteers

  • Supporting staff on event days to ensure events run smoothly, safely, and on schedule

Volunteer roles vary by event and may be one-time or recurring, depending on availability and interest.
