Shelter and Client Support

Shelter & Client Support volunteers are part of the front-line team supporting individuals and families as they work toward housing stability and independence. We believe in meeting people with dignity, respect, and encouragement, while helping build the skills and confidence needed for long-term success.

These roles are rooted in direct service, relationship-building, and a commitment to supporting progress, not just short-term relief.

Shelter & Client Support volunteers support our programs by:

• Assisting in the kitchen and helping prepare meals for shelter residents

• Preparing and delivering meals to our shelter sites

• Providing transportation support for clients to appointments and services

• Teaching and facilitating life skills and enrichment classes for clients through our Day Hab program

Volunteers may serve in one or multiple roles depending on interest, skills, and availability.
